Welcome to the Shipham AFC web site. Our village football club dates back to 1896 and we are always on the look out for new local members of all ages. The purpose of the club is to enjoy ourselves through regular training, matches, competitions and other activities. To re-launch the club we hosted an all-comers tournament in July 2007 which attracted 19 teams in three age categories and a great turn out of spectators and supporters. It was a fabulous day and a great start to a new era in the club history. For the 2007-2008 season are playing in the Bristol Casuals league - a league for over 35s to play a variety of opposition at a standard which suits every team! New players are welcome! Have a look at our matches page to see the fixtures list to come and play or support. The club is changing all the time and we'd be grateful for any local input and new members. Please do browse around our site, read some of the club history and about the field and facilities including plans for the new changing rooms. Most importantly get an idea of where the future might take us ... and if you want to get in touch then please do contact us.
